Home for Easter

Happy Easter
I was so happy to get home to the country for Easter with the family.
Queen B, Nanny Bagnell was down for a visit and a mission, to make me crochet a whole granny square using two colours. I know most people find that to be an easy task, but she's tried a few times to teach me and I've watched too many youtube videos in the hopes of learning, but I have been completely hopeless.
After some sweat and tears, I'm proud to say I can now do it!

Crochet Lesson 101
Strawberries and Cream
This was our favourite dessert growing up. My mom would make it for the dinner parties my parents would have in England. Brittney and I made it under heavy supervision :)
Fun in the Sun
Easter Egg Hunt
It's been years since we've all been together for Easter.
We were delighted when my dad made the Easter egg hunt questions and hid the chocolates all around the garden.
Turkey Dinner
Any excuse for turkey and cranberry sauce
Mom's Closet
I've been searching for a pair of high waisted pants for weeks now and tried on too many disappointing pairs.
I just found them in my mom's closet.
Bought in England in the 90's.
A little too tiny for me so I better not eat or drink too much when wearing them :)
