Los Angeles - I

We arrive in LA around lunch, pacific time, and found ourselves almost instantly at a mom and pop Mexican restaurant. The Mexican food on the West coast is unbelievably good, something that doesn't translate in New York.

After lunch, it was straight off to a shoot Peter was doing in a beautiful home in West Hollywood. He was shooting for the Australian Sunday Times, part of a story on Ozzie expats living in the US. Alyssa is a director, one of her movies being, "The Black Balloon." She was amazing, so warm and full of energy that we ended up sitting around chatting for an hour after all was done.

That evening we went to the LACMA museum. It was stunning, and happened to be having a jazz concert on their lawns while we were there.

We finished the evening with a scrumptious Ethiopian dinner, half the price we're accustomed to paying in NYC.
